Alexander Mineev is the firm's counsel specialising in dispute resolution matters. He is a member of the Moscow Region Advocate Chamber (admitted in 2002).
Alexander Mineev graduated from the International Law faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (University) of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation (MGIMO) in 1997. He is fluent in English.
Prior to joining Salomons Alexander Mineev has worked for 9 years in Law Firm "Yust", where he gained litigation experience in various categories of disputes, including international commercial arbitration, bankruptcy procedure, enforcement of judgements and arbitral awards.
In October 2006 he joined Advocate bureau of Moscow “Pro & Con”, established by the advocates he used to cooperate with during “Aluminium war” in one of the Russian regions back in early 2000-ths.
Currently Alexander cooperates with law firm Salomons on litigation and arbitration projects.

Alexander Mineev experience inter alia includes:

  • Consulting a hedge fund regarding judicial recovery of a debt arising out of debentures;
  • Representing a minor shareholder in the course of invalidation of board of directors and of shareholders meeting decisions;
  • Representing lessees against a large Russian leasing company in the dispute over outstanding lease payment after early termination;
  • Representing a large Russian sport society against recognition of ownership of a tenant;
  • Representing a foreign company in the course of enforcement of foreign arbitral award against a large Russian mining and beneficiation plant;
  • Representing foreign record companies against an alleged violator of incidental rights (audio CD producer);
  • Representing a participant of an oil company in the course of recovery of assets misappropriated by the other participant;
  • Representing a large Russian travel operator in defamation cases against a popular tabloid and a television company;
  • Representing a railroad client in the course of restoration of record in the technology center for carriage document processing of a railroad;
  • Representing a large Russian holding in the course of recovery of assets, including coal strip mine: defense against invalidation of the subsidiary’s shareholders meeting, representing the subsidiary under bankruptcy procedure;
  • Representing a regional metal holding in the course of bankruptcy procedure of its companies;
  • Representing large Russian bank in the course of bankruptcy procedure.
